The Monarch Program
You and your grandchildren will feel all aflutter when you visit Encinitas Monarch Program. This 1200-foot outdoor vivarium features monarch butterflies in all stages of life. The chipped redwood pathway leads you past beautiful plant life and trickling waterfalls. You can also learn about how the program rears butterfly livestock and tracks the migration of these beautiful creatures as they travel between California and Mexico.
